Skittles - the sport recreation for many citizens

In Welmbüttel there are several groups that deal with the bowling as a recreational sport.

Since Welmbüttel does not have a bowling alley have to rely on neighboring communities.
A nice bowling alley is located in Dörpling in "Charly" Brown in " Dörpling Krog " the two groups from our church on different days is used.

Old Cars and motorcycles

Old Auto's will have something special in itself, to comfort have done without, brings But driving with these "old" equipment the real fun (the past).

This particular piece is a - 8 cylinder - 1966 Ford Mustang.

The car came in 2006 in a storm ("water fall" from the mountains of Alamogordo, New Mexico). The streets were transformed within seconds into rivers.

A veritable tidal wave poured over the car.
The driver managed to escape on the hood, but was all that drove the water in front of them, in open parts of the truck. The engine compartment and the car's interior looked accordingly.





It took months, was taken up the courage to bring the car back in order.












It's not only the basic cleaning was announced, expanded the interior of the car (mats, seats and instruments), sandblasted, Cavities sealed, the engine was overhauled and installed a new transmission every time it allowed the purse were installed new parts. The ladies of "hobby group sewing" meet 14täglich in Dree-Dörper-Huus to the knowledge and skills of sewing and designing clothes exchange and textiles as part of a group and to deepen.
There are some experienced ladies to the other Women give tips and help can. Today, 9 women had come because it is already somewhat close in space, but the focus is on the hobby and mutual help.
Everybody brings their own sewing machine. There are even machines with computer deployed there.
