Let `s go to Shanghai Pt. 2
guys, I'm back from my holiday! He was really long and beautiful and I've seen a lot. Until I write, but from my vacation, it takes something else, because I'm stuck in Shanghai ... But since I now have some time, I'll write in the next few days very much, so please do not feel beaten by the long texts.
Friday morning we all got a hangover out of bed a little later. After a hot breakfast in a small Chinese restaurant we took the subway back to downtown to go walk to the ferry. We chillten So first on the ferry on the Huang Pu River, which the new Shanghai with the high modern skyscrapers separated. We had one of the last sunny days in Shanghai and we could even sit in sweatshirt on the boat. We then drove to the city planning of Shanghai Museum. The museum is four storied and you can see in pictures, like the old houses had to give way to skyscrapers. On the third floor of a huge model of the city is set up to which one can walk around. Also impressive was an animation in a round room, where you fly through the city and can see 3D around. We fallowing a long time in the museum because it had to offer a whole lot. Then we are through the city a hot tip: the roof terrace of the Captain Youth Hostel, one of the well to the other side, Pu Dong, could look across. There we ate a pizza, sipped quietly a small cocktail and one or the other was also happy to play a blind eye. But the day was of course not over. We knew that so many were German at the same time in Shanghai and had an appointment on the day in the disco. But it was no ordinary disco, but it was probably the most disco, where I've ever been: 15th listing floor. There was also pork expensive. And there was not that good, and only the view was really convincing. The people who were in the club were all so lubricated types and it was more likely to laugh as having behaved. But it was still not so bad and I was dancing later with the high-rises:)
Saturday morning, we arranged to meet a friend of Julius from France for breakfast. Sorry we could not as planned on the roof terrace of the hostel to eat pizza because it was still closed. Therefore we had to eat in the bottom Mezedopolio that was a bit tatty. At the breakfast table was discussed on the daily plan and decided that we will first go Transrapid. This 432 km / h fast train was more interesting for the mechanical engineers ... for me it was just train ticket. The train is driven to the airport, which was rather boring, because the airport was new, but then looked pretty in such a way as a normal airport. Ok, the roof looked quite nice from .... So fast at KFC and a Burger with the Transrapid back. At the station there was a museum about the Transrapid and its history. That was even more interesting, especially the Chinese want to build a Transrapid to Hong Kong, which needs only 3 hours up to there! There was also a lot of Mr Schroeder, who has helped with the Transrapid, for the most technology for the train came from Germany (Siemens). Because so weather was good, we went to the museum in the nearby park. There was really nice and green and there was still a lake in the middle. When we hire a pedal car (something like a pedal boat, just as a car) came along, we could not take us also a rent. That was very funny because we were out relatively quickly and at some point the chain has jumped out and we went through the bushes, so we had been afraid for our security, we naturally get back. In a roundabout we went too fast lap times and the car is tipped over it - so only nonsense in your head. On the way to the subway we went past a shooting range where we shot almost all the balloons and then we broke the stand owners wanted even kidding .... but not us! The main attraction for me was clearly the Cafe at the Hyatt in the early evening. This could to the 87th Floor of a not very good cocktail drink and was able to see really good the city from above. It was not yet on the roof of the taller buildings in Shanghai, but two floors underneath and you have really seen a lot, especially because we had a great view of the weather. We managed to get hold for a short time window seats and chillten in the chic restaurants for a while. It was an amazing amount in which it was. For dinner we went to a small, local Moslem restaurant, which was opposite our hostel. The waiter looked like brothers and sisters who all had a look at something funny, because they had probably not expected to Westerners "Trust" in such a restaurant, but it was delicious. To end the evening calm, we went to a jazz club where live music was played. Later the bar of an Afro-American, fat woman was kept in a good mood, because that has been shot in front of everyone with tequila, while she had her Aufritt. But it was not the only drunk there, there were two Irländerinnen who chatted constantly full and we had to say about our fun with it, that we came from somewhere else, I came from Argentina, Niels Julius from Texas and from Australia. Naürlich have eventually realized that we never speak English to each other ... I found the bed so comfortable that I fell asleep at some point, so nothing really exciting has happened. There was of course an end to me and I did not want to move on yet.
have rested on Sunday and we have then divided according to a McDonalds breakfast. I went to Niels and Damian to the traditional area. This is much smaller than that of Beijing, but it has still found a few cool pictures and talked with one or the other seller. The artists' quarter we went on a cool shop became aware of the T-shirt designs by artists prints, where I bought my T-shirt Ottman (some say affectionately: Maya the Bee). We are back in the city center to meet Starbucks and have something by then the City strolled. In the evening we have an appointment with Tim, who asked not to back with the others on the plane. For dinner we went to Tepanyaky Japanese, where there are 150 yuan for free food and drink. Since then we have eaten and drunk so much that I later could not stand straight (not the alcohol). But we our last evening in Shanghai did not want to spend in the hostel and so we went to the candy, where it also was free drink. Unfortunately, little was really going on (how funny on a Sunday night ...). But we had heartthrob Till here, so we then but with the last group to another "conversation" came (it was often a random, as were the others not so good English). After we were kicked out because the store has made, we are again with burgers and beer to the Bund (the waterfront) in order to see the skyline at night - and indescribable madness! On Monday we came back
sperrlich out of bed and as we have done it then, we are in the inner city and have breakfast at McDonalds. Then the museum was on the daily schedule. That the guides have so praised the museum as one of the largest in China, it was more of a total loss. There were not many exhibits, but after the sixth, same old dish we've also seen enough. We are nevertheless still relatively long, because it was already great. But I must Say that the Rembrandt exhibition in Amsterdam, which was issued at the time was the best. I could start with the well-known art but then most. Our last day in Shanghai we went again to the federal government, because it is so beautiful there. Also, we are again left to the artificial town, because the route was very pleasant until then. On the way back we strolled through an honest, Chinese market, where we were the only foreigners, although it had swarmed in Shanghai only by foreigners. The most badass thing I had seen there were geese, which have not moved from the spot - they were both cut off. Back then we had to get stressed because we made the rush hour have a taxi .... but it did not really change anything still fit well and we are on time have been at the station. There we had to go long distances, because we had the last rail staircase and then also the last train. Sweaty we are on the train in our soft sleeper compartment, and have let the evening calm.
was the morning then again stress, because I had an 8 clock lecture. We took the metro, have come through well and I was in the end only 20 minutes late. For the rest of the week was only then chill, save money and Shanghai digest the day. Also had to be something done for the university. Even on Friday we did nothing and only a film (Die slow 4) watched.
get pictures ...
